February 15 – Fire and Ice 

Brighton Beach in Duluth is a beautiful place to watch the sunrise, waves, ice, and the big lake. However, shore ice has formed by mid-February and begins to break up with warming temperatures. 

The winter landscapes will soon melt into the big lake, with Springtime drawing closer.

So that those who dwell at the ends of the earth are in awe at your signs. You make the going out of the morning and the evening to shout for joy. Psalm 65:8
